Delivery

For orders for published titles, we will dispatch your books within 3 working days. However, delivery times will vary according to destination.

For orders for books not yet published, we will dispatch your books within 3 working days of the publication. However, delivery times will vary according to destination. Publication dates are listed on the product pages.

If you have ordered a book where there is the option available to collect your order from the institution, this will display on the payment page. We will email you upon publication to inform you of the times and location for collection.

Defective items

You can always return an item if it is defective in any way. Please email us at info@profileeditions.com with your order number to let us know the details of the problem.

Delivery charges

If you need to return an item because of a defect, we will refund the cost of the item along with the outbound delivery charges. Please contact us as directed above to make arrangements for the return.

If you are returning for any other reason, please see the section below about cancelling your order.

Refunds

Refunds will be made to the same method of payment you used in purchasing.

Undeliverable items

Occasionally we get parcels that are returned to us as undeliverable. We will try to contact you in the first instance to see how we can send it out again. If we cannot get hold of you we’ll issue you a full refund, including the delivery costs, using your original details as supplied.

If you'd still like to purchase the items in a parcel that's been refunded you'll need to place a new order with a different address. If you have pre-ordered a book and the book is no longer available on the website, you will need to contact us at info@profileeditions.com to process another order. 

How to return an item

Please carefully repackage items and include a copy of the receipt.  The return address is:

We recommend you ask for proof of postage when returning an item, as it may be necessary in order to process a refund, should your item fail to reach us.

Cancelling an order

Under the United Kingdom's Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within 14 days of delivery. This legal right applies to all of our physical products. If your purchase qualifies for cancellation and you would like to cancel the contract please email Customer Services quoting your order number at info@profileeditions.com.

You must take reasonable care of the items and must not use them. Please note that cancellations under these terms can only be accepted within 14 days of delivery. When you have cancelled your contract, you must return the items to us so that we receive them within 14 days of your cancellation of the contract. You will be responsible for the cost of delivering the items back to us, unless we delivered an item to you in error or the items were faulty. Once we have begun the delivery process, you cannot cancel any contract you have with us for any services we have already carried out.
